  • Senior Staff Social Covenant

  • The physical and emotional health of our team is vitally important. This Sr. Staff social covenant is a part of our daily culture and should be taken seriously. Failure to comply with these guidelines puts the efforts of our team at risk and your employment in jeopardy.

Please read through this list thoroughly, as your signature at the bottom constitutes your agreement to comply.

    • From the day that Senior Staff moves into their houses until the day they move out, there will be no use of alcohol, tobacco products, or drugs permitted at any time. This includes offsite activities, off time and break week and individuals who are of legal age. This is mandatory with no excuses or exceptions.
    • There will be a mandatory lights-out that begins at 1:00 AM, including Saturday nights. This means that every member of our team will be in their room with lights turned off before 1:00 AM.
    • Senior Staff members are to keep their phones in the staff lodges while on the job throughout the summer. Only the leadership team members will be permitted to have their phones on their person while on duty for work-related use.
    • Any type of pranking that pits one group against another (ie. male vs. female) is not permitted. Any activity that could potentially cause harm to people or the property of Camp Allen is expressly forbidden. Any interactions that are divisive in nature or cause undue stress on the team must be avoided.
    • Senior Staff is only permitted to leave the property during their mid-week off time or their Saturday off time. Specific permission must be given from a summer camp manager if an additional trip off-site is required for any reason.
    • Lodge guests will not be permitted during the workweek. Overnight lodge guests are strictly forbidden throughout the entire summer. Family or friends may visit the houses between 12 PM and 5 PM on Saturdays, but their stay should not exceed 30 minutes.
    • Our speech should align itself closely with our core values. This means crude humor, foul language, sarcastic or snappy comments, etc. must be kept in check. We as believers in Christ are called to "not conform to the patterns of this world," so our life, community, and relationships should look different than what the world says is normal.
  • Should be Empty:
